About...

JEAN-ÉRIC TURQUIN

Born in Champagne in Reims in 1950, his vocation as a painter manifests itself at the age of 15 ; He gets to work spontaneously, giving free rein to his imagination.

A few years later, he took Nature as his grand master, where he painted on the motif and learned a great lesson from it.

Coming from Picardy, he settled in the Provence sun in 1976. He found a haven of peace and inspiration in the Comtat Venaissin, at the foot of the Mont-Ventoux.

Arts Actualités Magazine

A. Coudert

“Jean-Éric Turquin’s painting is a happy alliance between the material, almost raw and the color always lively, without ever being aggressive.”

Arts Actualités Magazine

T. Znytka

“The colors sing with happiness, like a pictorial music which accentuates the essential elements of its chromatic chords, to blend them with the decor.”
